These models do not require HP+ activation. HP Instant Ink is still supported if you want it, but it’s not forced. Plus, you can still use original HP cartridges as well as remanufactured or compatible cartridges you can trust.

Although the upfront cost of a standard HP printer may be slightly higher, you’ll save more in the long run by choosing cheaper cartridge replacements.
